The 2011 Cure Cup Tourney was held at the Main Street Arena in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, December 10 to raise money and collect toys for the UVA Cancer Center and the Massey Oncological Center in Richmond. Two games were played between two Richmond-based teams (Richmond Hockey Fights Cancer A & B) and two Charlottesville-based teams (Sperry Hockey and Team Main Street). In the first game RHFC beat Team Main Street 3-2. In the second game RHFC beat Sperry Marine 7-5. The event raised over $2000 for the UVA Cancer Center and the Massey Oncological Center in Richmond.
